Hey Bros,
(written on a lighter note)
It might sound you boring to be part of a trip with office buddies, as we generally try to avoid going out with people whom we report to (Immediate Reporting being most!); but frankly it was fun, need to be little diplomatic which I've become after handful years of Experience.
But nevermind, hope you would enjoy this journey with me; that has all action-drama-excitement and live commentary, insightful at places revealing quite a bit more that intended.
So it all started 16th March morning 5 AM, (looks a quite early, isn't it and indeed it was truly when only few individuals and myself were on-time. While all rest were still snoozing their alarms, we had to guide Bus Driver to reach to Office; after handful 1.5-2 hrs of time and 100+ calls we made we were able gather all at pick-up point (Ground Floor to be precise), mentioning here because we had few employees who literally went upstairs to record their attendance towards trip 😀. I can't wait here to mention one name, who was called by all of us came early sacrificing their precious 45-60 mins of sleep called Purvil). Offcourse, we welcomed him on arrival in the Bus like President of India walking in the Parliament 👏👏👏.
Then after, we all again started 'sleeping' (after all everyone was short of couple of hrs of sleep); which we finally bid adieu, with a refreshing hot tea/coffee on the way nearby Shanku Water Park. Shivani also took a small coffee-shower, since she found to skip step/stair even after few sips of same coffee spill over after which she was bright well awake. Infact, post morning tea whole bus buzzing with all awaken souls - talking, laughing, shouting also dancing in passage which just good enough to walk alone. Bus Speakers were with 'No' good Bass or Beats; all you can play was slow, low paces Sufi songs well on them, which I started but then the GenX started yelling and I surrendered. Handed over BT-66016S3 connection to Parasar and he started playing his kind of songs. Which after a while, I really felt I was literally boring them at the very start of trip. So as a guilt, I took an oath never to connect to BT-66016S3 when anyone else in the Bus is having better taste than mine 😁. But Frankly, he also played some Oldies, with Remix / Originals which I could connect quite well; and the colorful lights in the Bus made it not less then a Dance Floor on the Wheels.
Offcourse, we had a Award ceremony, where we honoured the great talent we have and appreciated their hardwork; no doubt this time it was a complete girls clean sweep as all the awards were won by Girls - EOQ (Q3): Shriya Jain, EOR (Q3): Asha Kankodiya, EOQ (Q4): Muskan Kachoriya & EOR (Q4) - Karuna Chavan. But all this happened so quick that we missed out mentioning nominations for each category as well, directly announced winners themselves. To be frank all were more eager to get on the floor with their Dancing shoe.
The night was quite extended with their own preferences of drinks and chakana, not to mention few were there just for chakana and not for a real-drink (the good people, i mentioned earlier); but for sure everyone one who drank and who didn't enjoyed each-others' company thinking I'm better enjoying than other. Not to mention anyone's name here would clever and not breaching privacy 😉; so will keep mum. I had a set ground rule, not to drink more than 2-3 pegs with a group; ended up drinking with almost all different groups 🙂.
Next day morning was splendidly beautiful and refreshing; many still were not out from last night hangover. But, I Simply enjoyed sound of birds, squirrels out there early morning. Saw through a great bio-diversity of plants. All that reminded we have detached ourselves by far from our most basic need - food, water, shelter in the worry of securing future, actually loosing out our Present.
Thanking you all for reading through end, you qualify for a Book Reading club I'm going to organize in our company 😆 No-offence to all whose names are mentioned in the Blog, don't take it seriously, no one else takes 😂
Cheers 👍,
Niket
